You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

Intakes are $200 for 60 minutes and follow-up appointments are $175 for 55 minutes

A new person coming in and staying for ten sessions would expect to pay, without insurance, $200 for intake plus $1575 for 9 follow-ups equaling $1775.  

With Optum / United, you are responsible for only your deductible and copays which vary by plan. Copays with Optum run from $0 to $90 once the copay is met.  

Most clients attend every one to two weeks for 6 sessions, then cycle down to less frequency as they integrate our work into their daily lives.  Many clients keep quarterly, bi-annual or annual appointments for check-ins as needed. 

Lisa provides BOTH!  Some clients do only telehealth, some only face-to-face and some rotate depending on time, health, family, travel needs, etc. We only ask that you advise us ahead of time if you are switching.  

Teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient done through HIPAA ensured portals.
